Bulk Billing

We Developed Southern Cross Podiatry to make it easier for you to access Podiatry care. As such we will happily bulk bill your care where we are able. We can only bulk bill you though if you fall under certain funding programs, listed below:

Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) , also known as a Chronic Disease Management plan

Medicare originally developed this plan, and it provides you with a rebate for allied health services, including Podiatry. However, it limits you to 5 services per calendar year. Your General Practitioner (GP) has to develop you plan, and you must have it set up prior to your appointment.

Not all Podiatry clinics will bulk bill you for this plan, it is not a legal requirement. We at Southern Cross Podiatry will proudly to bulk bill if you have a valid the EPC plan.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

Individuals who have previously served our country in wars may be eligible for DVA funding. Once approved by DVA, they will fund any clinically required treatments. We require a referral from your General Practitioner for us to access this finding source.

Transport Accident Commission (TAC)

The TAC helps to fund your care if you have been injured in a transport incident. Upon approval TAC will provide you with claim details which we ask are brought to your appointment.

Southern Cross Podiatry is registered to provide services for TAC clients, we also bulk bill the services directly so you don’t have to worry about any further actions, or claiming back your money.

WorkCover

In the event of a work place injury, WorkSafe may be able to assist with funding for your appointments, depending on eligibility. Southern Cross Podiatry is registered to provide services for clients with WorkSafe assistance.
